.bt names need paperwork. The registry asks for supporting documents, such as a trade licence or registration certificate. We prepare the application and file it for you.

A named contact at the studio
Moving from another host? We can migrate your website and mailboxes for you, and plan the switch so your email keeps working.
SSL Certificates
The padlock your visitors look for
An SSL certificate encrypts the connection between your website and its visitors. It shows the padlock in the browser, protects contact forms and payments, and is expected by search engines.
Included with our hosting
Every hosting plan includes a standard SSL certificate, installed and renewed for you.
Business certificates
Organisations that need their verified company details on the certificate can choose an OV or EV certificate.
Hosted elsewhere?
Tell us where your website is hosted and we will advise on the right certificate and how to install it.
Questions
Before you register
Something else on your mind? Send us a message and we'll reply personally.
Who can register a .bt domain?
Organisations and individuals can apply. The registry asks for supporting documents, such as a trade licence or registration certificate, along with a signed application. Send us what you have and we will prepare the rest.
How long does registration take?
International names such as .com are usually active the same day. A .bt name is approved by the registry, so the timing depends on the review of your documents. We keep you posted at each step.
Can I move a domain or website I already have?
Yes. We can transfer your domain into our care and migrate your website and mailboxes, planning the switch so your email keeps working throughout.
Do I need hosting if I only want email?
Email needs a mailbox to live in, so yes. The Starter plan covers a name with professional email addresses, and you can add a website whenever you are ready.
What happens when my domain is due for renewal?
We remind you well before the expiry date and renew once you confirm, so your name never lapses by accident.

Need a website to go with the name?
We design and build it too. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll reply with ideas, a clear quote and a timeline.
