Usage Guidelines

Use the emblem with respect

Do

Always respect the original look, proportions and colours of the emblem.
Use the right variation for your background: black text on light backgrounds, white text on dark ones.
Keep the proportions: hold the Shift key while resizing so the width and height stay in ratio.
Use it only for the right purpose, and make sure you are authorised before using it.
If you see agencies using incorrect versions, share this page to help keep the emblem consistent.

Don't

Don't distort the graphic. Width and height must always stay proportionate.
Don't extract elements from the emblem or alter its form and significance.
Don't re-colour it. The official colours carry meaning behind each element and symbol.
Don't place it on low-contrast backgrounds, such as black text on dark blue or white text on light blue.

Authorisation matters

This is the National Emblem of Bhutan, and not everyone is authorised to use it. The files are free to download, but please make sure you have authorisation before using the emblem in any work.
